Job description
This position is located in Big Bend National Park, in the Division of Administration. Duty location negotiable, please see the "Duties" section below for more details. The duty location of this position is negotiable, but will need to be at a National Park Service facility with confirmed space to house the selectee for the position. Rate of pay listed is the Rest of US Locality, for the full range of potential pay please see the 2026 GS Pay Tables. Responsible for keeping the park's revenues and spending in balance through sound advice to staff. Serves as a full member of the park's leadership team to plan, analyze, and monitor the formulation and development of park-wide plans, programs, procedures, operating policies, internal controls and program goals. Oversees the following functions: Payroll/Timekeeping Bills of Collection Third Party Drafts Payment of Invoices Internal Controls and Audits Travel, Planning, HR, Acquisition and Property, Agreements, and IT Serves as the Point of Contact for the Operations Formulation System Maintains surveillance over the park's business systems to ensure maximum probability of mission success.
