Job description

The Administrative Officer independently directs and manages the operations of complex administrative functions of the Anesthesia and Physical Medicine Service. He/she develops, coordinates, and analyzes/monitors all Anesthesia and Physical Medicine programs.

This position performs the following duties as assigned: Acts as a liaison for the Service. Participates in discussions and presentation during meetings with leadership and various interdisciplinary committees. Develops, plans, coordinates, issues, and implements administration procedures and operational processes. Serves as the principal advisor to management and staff on administrative management programs and operational matters affecting the Service. Compiles information, prepares administrative reports, executive briefing, etc. Serves as the primary liaison for the service regarding all human resources, workforce management, personnel administration, and organizational support activities for the Service. Other duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. Telework: This position may be authorized for Adhoc Telework.
