Job description

You will serve as the principal authority and event architect for the NAVWAR HQ, responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing all high-visibility domestic and foreign Distinguished Visitor (DV) visits. You will ensure all DV visits, briefs, and command events align precisely with the Commander's strategic engagement objectives and leadership intent, the incumbent directs cross-functional planning teams across various NAVWAR codes. You will exercise independent authority to resolve complex logistical, security, and scheduling conflicts, coordinating directly with external commands, the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV), embassy staffs, and internal facilities. You will manage large-scale venue logistics, physical staging, visual assets, speaker scripting, and real-time audience-response systems. You will maintain operational readiness by managing the command's executive engagement calendars to strategically synchronize high-level visits and events, ensuring all physical venues, technical staging gear, and security clearances are coordinated. You will perform rigorous financial analyses of all incoming ORF requests from NAVWAR codes and subordinate commands, rendering authoritative determinations regarding the statutory ratios of authorized foreign and domestic guests. You will act as a trusted intermediary; the incumbent ensures that all communications with legislative stakeholders are legally sound, strategically aligned with Department of the Navy priorities, and delivered within tight congressional deadlines. You will assist with managing urgent, high-priority action items and taskers, exercising exceptional diplomatic tact and organizational acumen to resolve complex schedule conflicts and prioritize competing command demands.
