Advanced Practice Nurse (Family Practice)

About the Position: This position is located at Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton 52 Area Branch Health Clinic. A recruitment incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Provide primary care services to patients ranging in ages from infant through geriatric in a primary health care clinic of a military medical treatment facility. Examine patient and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patient's care and treatment. Work independently and collaboratively with physicians in patient management, evaluation, and revision of therapeutic plans. Diagnose disease, illness, disorder or injury, and institute treatment of patients. Write prescriptions, order the administration of medications, dispense medications, and prescribe controlled substance in accordance with scope of practice for Nurse Practitioners.
