Advanced Practice Nurse (Women's Health)

About the Position: This position is located within the Obstetrics/Gynecology Department at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennessee This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Provides comprehensive care to women across the life span from menarche to menopause, with an emphasis on reproductive, gynecologic, obstetric and well women health. Conducts clinical assessment and physical examinations to evaluate and/or diagnose gynecological and obstetrical health. Formulates evidence-based care plans and delivers clinical treatments, including family planning counseling and infertility assessments. Independently performs advanced gynecological procedures, including specialized biopsies, and assists physician with procedures as needed. Manages administrative tracking, patient follow-up, and registry referrals for individuals diagnosed with abnormal cellular changes or gynecological cancers. Provides professional consultation about gynecological conditions and treatment to health care team members, providers, and clinical staff. Serves as a subject matter expert in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) for the medical facility.
