Job description

This vacancy is for a GS-0343-9, Business Operations Analyst located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, TRACEN PETALUMA FAC ENG - CONSTRUCTION/MANAGEMENT in PETALUMA, California.

You will serve as a Business Operations Analyst and be responsible for performing administrative, technical, financial and human resource duties in support of construction and facilities maintenance activities. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Responding to data calls and prepares various annual and quarterly reports as well as Planned Obligation Priority board documents. Reviewing and analyzing incoming directives, assessing impact and establishing a course of action to insure compliance. Providing policy and procedural briefings and instructions and/or coordinating briefings to implement new or revised processes. Utilizing electronic project folders and databases to analyze and report on design/construction projects, equipment status and facilities maintenance, as well as data entry and retrieval, report preparation, and statistical analysis. Performing/assisting in the budget formulation and execution process.
