COMSEC MANAGER

You will serve as a COMSEC MANAGER in the EKMS Branch (N00SM4) of the SPECIAL ASSISTANT SECURITY OFFICE (N00SM) at the NAVAL COMPUTER AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS AREA MASTER STATION ATLANTIC DETACHMENT JACKSONVILLE, FL. You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, requirements, difficulty of assignment, and the capabilities of the employee. You will counsel and instruct employees on both work and administrative matters. You will manage the Communication Security (COMSEC) holdings of the Det Jacksonville vault in accordance with the current and applicable Naval Communications Security Material System (NCSMS) direction and DoN/DoD Security practices. You will provide periodic and ‘on request’ status and informational reports to the Immediate Superior in Command (ISIC) COMSEC manager that are accurate and up to date. You will ensure all vault personnel are trained and skilled in the proper packaging and shipping of COMSEC material. You will generate local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Emergency Action Plans (EAP), User Guides and other documentation that is directive in nature for local use. You will ensure local Security requirements are in place and operational and all Detachment Security requirements are adhered to.
