Serving as a Deputy Division Chief (Organizational Health Division) GS-0301-14 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Organizational Health Division within Mission and Readiness Support Directorate located in Glynco, Georgia . The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Deputy Division Chief and, in conjunction with the Division Chief, share responsibility for the overall performance and technical activities of staff assigned to the division, including the quality, quantity, and content of their work. The Deputy Division Chief is responsible for oversight and management of medical programs, services, and personnel within the Organizational Health Department (OHD). Typical duties include: Providing oversight of medical programs and initiatives assigned to the division, including monitoring quarterly progress reports and submitting reports to the supervisor identifying areas requiring program, procedure, or document revision or development. Performing personnel management responsibilities as a first-line supervisor, such as maintaining discipline, counseling employees, evaluating performance, and approving leave. Developing and implementing a professional development plan. Participating in meetings, project planning, report preparation, and the development of medical policies and procedures.
