As the Director, Installation Operations within the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-4, you will be granted broad latitude to implement policy and resourcing solutions to enhance operations at Army installations around the globe. You will coordinate with leaders across the Army, the military Services, and the Office of the Secretary of War to prioritize investments to improve the materiel condition of existing facilities and to construct new ones. Similarly, you will advise Army leaders on investments (and divestments) across the installation-related IT portfolio to improve infrastructure and real property assessment and reporting processes. You will also be responsible for streamlining policy to simultaneously improve oversight and accountability of installation operations - to include financial audit requirements - while reducing administrative burdens on installation leaders.
