Job description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will test, analyze, and repair instruments, meters, and control system components to ensure they are functioning properly and returning systems to operation. You will troubleshoot, reprogram, and recalibrate computer-controlled interface components, and initiate diagnostic programs to locate and check defective units. You will perform repairs on energized high-voltage systems, removing instruments and components from service in various distribution switchboards as necessary. You will use your judgment to determine work sequences, select appropriate tools, and apply technical data from schematics, manuals, and procedures. You will provide technical assistance and guidance to lower-graded workers and develop new techniques for use on specific or unique equipment.
