Job description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the ELECTRONICS MAINTENANCE LEAD (N41), MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT (N4) at NAVAL COMPUTER AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS AREA MASTER STATION (NCTAMS). You will manage and provide onsite and regional Ultra High Frequency (UHF) system installation, diagnostic testing, and acceptance coordination. You will utilize the Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) web-based program to document, monitor and track system outages. You will assess the complex UHF workload requirements and assign department personnel to perform corrective and planned maintenance actions. You will provide recommendations and proposals to Shore Commanders to assist with mitigation efforts that minimize and; or avert UHF system casualties. You will research and compile weekly Casualty Report (CASREP) reports documenting all regional corrective maintenance actions for issuance. You will monitor and coordinate resolution of all maintenance and engineering problems. You will assist with System Operational Tests (SOVT) acceptance of installed systems and operational testing.
