Job description

You will serve as an Environmental Engineer/Physical Scientist/Community Planner/Scientific Resources Manager in the Environmental Readiness Branch of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

You will serve as Section Head and will be primarily responsible for leading and managing environmental and/or natural resources programs as assigned. You will serve as an advisor in the development of policy, procedures, and management of environmental planning, resourcing, compliance, and scientific resource programs You will oversee policies and execution strategies in support of land-based range sustainment. You will develop, implement, and update long-range environmental readiness strategic plans. You will prepare, review, modify, and defend Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Program Review (PR), capabilities assessment, and budget submittal resource requirements for programs of responsibility.
