Job description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will serve as an EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in the Electrical, Mechanical and Structural Tech Support Management Division (N42), Facilities Department (N4) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic. You will assist in the local activity’s personnel with trouble shooting and repairing inoperable equipment and systems. You will provide worldwide standardization of required operation and maintenance for HVAC equipment and systems through review of manuals, local procedures and instructions. You will advise the Commanding Officer or designated representative of problems while on board an activity which may lead to future loss of system reliability and propose corrective actions. You will monitor the maintenance of facility history on each installed system. You will monitor the logistic support of mechanical and electronic systems by monitoring allowance parts lists and corresponding technical material and parts inventories. You will act as a field technical representative and consultant in solving general mechanical/electronic and control problems relative to HVAC systems.
