Job description

You will serve as a INDUSTRIAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the SECURITY DIVISIION of MARINE CORPS WARFIGHTING LABORATOY (MCWL), of MARINE CORPS COMBAT DEVELOPMENT CMD.

You will serve as the Command Collateral Security Manager for the management, execution, development, and implementation for multiple security programs. You will be the subject matter expert in the development, updating, and implementation in accordance with applicable laws, guidance, and policies. You will be responsible for the review, signature, and record keeping of all DOD Contract Security Classification Specification Forms. You will be responsible for the execution and implementation of the commands CUI program. You will be responsible for the Security Education, Training, and Awareness program. You will ensure inspections occur annually and maintain records as required per records management policies. You will advise high-level management on the laws, regulations, practices, and procedures applicable to various security disciplines. You will analyze security programs to evaluate the effectiveness in functional areas (e.g., Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Industrial Security). You will identify program discrepancies through the evaluation of internal and external impacts to the Command's Information, Industrial, or Personnel Security Programs. You will oversee Personnel Security programs (e.g. Personnel Security investigations; continuous evaluation; access control for active duty military, civilian, and visitors; security training) to support the Personnel Security Program (PSP). You will be personal contact with Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) Special Agents assisting with relevant data and information on potential counter espionage, counterintelligence, and/or criminal cases as they apply to security management. You will present formal security presentations to a diverse audience (e.g.,, federal, military, contractor, private sector).
