Job description

You will serve as a Integrated Resources Program Manager with National Park Service. This position is located in the Resource Management section of Bryce Canyon National Park. You may be required to travel overnight away from home up to 1 night per month. You must obtain a government charge card for travel purposes. GS-12 Salary: $89,508 (Step 01) to $116,362 (Step 10) First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Manage a complex, multi-disciplinary resource management program. Provide technical and substantive direct supervision to a highly specialized staff. Responsible for financial management and budget across various accounts and fund sources. Coordinate and facilitate consultation with tribal, federal and local partners Prepare compliance documents including environmental assessments for park projects. Develop guidelines to deal with the more complex or unusual problems, or with novel, undeveloped or controversial aspects of natural and cultural resources and their management. Identify research needs, prepare requests for proposals or statement of work, and provide oversight for research projects. Collect, analyze, and synthesize scientific information from research; monitor resources management actions and other sources of information; and prepare reports for specific projects.
