Job description

This position is located with the National Park Service, Interior Region 2 - South Atlantic Gulf, at Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park (FOSU) and Charles Pinckney National Historic Site (CHPI) in Charleston, SC.

As an Integrated Resources Program Manager, you will perform the following duties: Directs programs of resources management activities for cultural and natural resources. Attends management and professional conferences and other events for the purpose of exchanging information. Develops long range plans for the inventory, evaluation, documentation, preservation, research, and interpretation of resources. Coordinates park resources management programs with those on adjacent lands. Negotiates cooperative and interagency agreements. Collects, analyzes, and synthesizes scientific information from research. Prepares environmental assessments (EA's) for park projects. Establishes professional relationships with cooperating governmental agencies, partners, and stakeholders. Supervises subordinate staff and serve as a member of the parks' Management Teams. Develops and directs a robust and intricate program of resources management activities for cultural and natural resources that may involve sensitive and complex issues impacting a wide variety of park resources and concerns.
