INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as AFOSI's Senior Intelligence Civilian Program/Functional Manager, Principle Civilian Intelligence Personnel Management Advisor, and Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) to the Commander, Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Staff, and all subordinate directorates and activities.

DUTY 1: Serves as the AFOSI Senior Civilian Functional Manager for Intelligence, Principle Civilian Intelligence Personnel Management Advisor, and Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) to the Commander for the intelligence portfolio management and human capital initiatives. DUTY 2: Evaluates occupational structure, composition and effectiveness of AFOSI's civilian IS career management at all command levels. DUTY 3: Advises AFOSI leadership on issues involving program policies and regulations, organizational structure, doctrine, funding for interns, recruitment, training and development, career field structure, and overall professional development to meet the human resource capabilities required for the future. DUTY 4: Develops and executes AFOSI's marketing strategy for the IS Career Field talent management initiatives including workforce planning, recruitment, developmental programs, training opportunities, and career paths, leveraging social media such as Milsuite, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. DUTY 5: Develops and seeks expansion of training, education and development opportunities for IS AFOSI-wide.
