Job description

You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER / GEOLOGIST in the Environmental Program of NAVFAC OSF.

You will serve as the NAVFAC HQ technical expert on environmental cleanup technologies and their application on sites involving hazardous waste contamination and/or unexploded ordnance (UXO). You will provide expertise and consultation services on ER products and services to Navy and Marine Corps activities and Supported Commands on a broad range of environmental restoration matters and issues. You will direct the development and implementation of NAVFAC program plans, policy documents and instructions for the administration and technical management of ER resources Navy-wide. You will serve as the program manager for execution of assigned programs. Assists with programming and budget development, supports program execution, and recommends budget adjustments.
