About the Position: This position is in the Defense Health Agency Public Health, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. This position may be eligible for ad hoc/situational telework only. It does not qualify for full-time or remote telework per agency policy. You must live within or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance of the identified duty location. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Evaluates sources of nonionizing radiation (i.e. radios, radars, lasers, electronic countermeasures). Determines potential nonionizing radiation hazards; recommends mitigation strategies; and reports findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Leads technical work teams conducting evaluations and provides technical oversight. Writes, publishes, and promulgates procedures, policies, measurement techniques, and compliance regulations. Evaluates the health hazards associated with nonionizing radiation, recommending programs and regulations to mitigate exposure risks.
