Job description

About the Position: Serves as a Lead Exercise Planner for the Joint Activities Command at Fort Bragg, NC.

Directs the development of the overall exercise schedule, oversees coordination and scheduling conferences, coordinates the execution of site surveys, range scheduling, and participation of special operations and conventional aviation assets. Coordinates all aspects of aviation, support, training requirements, and after-action reviews for 1st JSOAC coordinated exercises. Serves as the Assistant Exercise Program Manager for the 1st Joint Special Operations Air Component. Supervises the preparation of messages and reports relating to the general conduct of planning conferences, site surveys, and meetings. Provides oversight of aviation planning, assignment of exercise planners and Aviation Coordination Specialists, and execution of the 1st JSOAC exercise program. Manages the Air Asset Allocation Conference (AAAC) program.
