Job description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2059000 and is part of the NC ASO, National Guard (AASF #1 / MD 1221-423).

As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-09, you will plan and coordinate all matters pertaining to new and displaced equipment fielding, equipment readiness, and provide guidance and miscellaneous logistic/training fielding support to the Major Commands and subordinate elements; oversee, coordinate and administer the logistic/training functions by developing and issuing policy guidance on new/displaced equipment fielding matters including receipt, storage, deprocessing, issue, and property accountability; monitor the status of deprocessing of new equipment being fielded; coordinate maintenance support by external organizations for deprocessing. Coordinate internal maintenance support for deprocessing; develop budget estimates for New/Displaced Equipment Fielding and Training; be responsible as the Sub-Program Manager for monitoring and maintaining the NET/DET budget; perform other duties as assigned.
