Job description

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the LOGISTICS OPERATIONS PLANNING DIVISION, EXERCISE WAR PLANNING TEAM of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

You will serve as the LOGCOM Liaison officer for operational planning supporting the Marine Expeditionary Operating Forces, Annexes, and Appendices. You will be making decisions on administrative and program aspects for the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) (e.g. Reception Staging/Onward Integration; Theater Support/Sustainment, Logistics Modernization; and Naval Logistics integration). You will direct or conduct comprehensive management studies dealing with operational logistics requirements determination and cost, performance measurement, methods, and procedures to identify problems. You will propose logistics solutions and identify areas of opportunity for improved support. You will oversee the planning, coordinating, and advising for policy regarding Operational Logistics support strategies and plans that support the Operating Forces. You will serve as the planner, analyst, and advisor to leadership on program cost analysis, annual/multi-year, and long-range fiscal/program planning issues. You will prepare and present high level briefings of conclusions which may be highly subjective and not readily susceptible to verification.
