This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO). You will provide guidance and technical advice in a variety of mission support functional afeas for a Field Office or Port of Entry. This position starts at a salary of $51,490.00 (GS-07, Step 1) to $81,882.00 (GS-09, Step 10) with promotion potential to $99,069.00 (GS-11 Step 10). Duties will include: Analyzing complex administrative issues and recommending solutions to improve operational effectiveness. Planning and executing projects and studies to enhance mission support services and achieve organizational goals. Interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to resolve challenges and ensure program compliance. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities and implement process improvements. Preparing reports, guidance, and recommendations to support management decision-making and continuous improvement.
