About the Position: May be filled by Temporary or Term appointment. The Natural Resources Manager provides support and leadership to the operating projects in the areas of Recreation and Environmental Stewardship, including coordination with other Federal, state, and local agencies on related issues, managing the Recreation and Environmental Stewardship budgets, and the Fire Management Program.

Plan, coordinate and direct the execution of complex and complicated environmental stewardship and recreation programs that are subject to numerous challenges. Apply professional principles of public land use and conservation, park administration, public use management and wildlife management. Responsible for serving a large geographical area, including 23 major public reservoirs and surrounding public lands in two states. Review and interpret laws and regulations and develop policies to ensure consistent allocation across the district.
