As an Operations Support Specialist, you will provide guidance and technical assistance to divisional and branch leadership on administrative operations and supports team's mission-essential activities and projects.
Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Office of Civil Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity and are assigned based on the need of the agency. Performs administrative responsibilities to include communications, intake, data management, logistics, procurement, contract support, attendance, schedules, training, records, property, administrative processing, and/or other and support functions. Develops and updates standard operating procedures to ensure consistent processes are followed and processes align with legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements. Designs, develops, and maintains ongoing metrics, reports and dashboards. Conducts research on assigned administrative projects to gather and analyze relevant data, develop recommendations, and provide reports and briefings. Serves as liaison and expert in team's administrative programs with internal support personnel and other USCIS program offices. Advise and support management on complex administrative issues, ensuring sensitive information is handled appropriately and securely.
