PIPEFITTER TRAINING LEADER

You will serve as a PIPEFITTER TRAINING LEADER in the PUBLIC WORKS BUISINESS LINE of Commander, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

You will prepare, coordinate, and conduct established classroom trade theory instruction and supplemental on-the-job training for pipefitter personnel. You will determines the depth of employee's trade knowledge, provides mentoring, and coordinates training opportunities to ensure skill gaps are addressed. You will prepare period updates related to training records and reports to the Trades Development Program Manager; provides periodic assessments for pipefitter personnel to determine technical proficiency in the trade. You will schedule and coordinate training for various shops and assures that OJT is appropriate and aligned with training plan. You will train pipefitter personnel in the best methods for pipe system repairs; and skill to make repairs to a variety of pipe systems. You will researches and implements leading-edge practices and techniques as well as the research of modern tools and equipment.
