Job description
This position is in the Department of Justice, Executive Records and Information Management (ERIM) office. ERIM oversees the review and approval of official documents and coordinates the flow of information critical to rigorous decision making. ERIM is also responsible for the coordination of all policy related decision material submitted to the Department for clearance. ERIM provides records management services, including storage of classified material and document searches.
The duties and responsibilities for a Policy Analyst, GS-0301-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Identify short-term policies and programs and provides recommendations to senior policy officials. Collect and analyze pertinent data to establish policy issues and/or problems. Circulate policy clearance documents to relevant components/offices. Collaborate with internal and external components and offices. Provide guidance concerning program-related or administrative policies for application to internal program issues. Serves as a liaison between the Executive Records and Information Management and internal and external stakeholders.
