Conduct initial health assessments, screenings, and evaluations for new and existing employees. - Perform health risk assessments and monitor employee health status in relation to workplace hazards. - Administer vaccines, immunizations, and other preventive health measures in accordance with VA policies. - Perform required agency-directed medical examinations, evaluations, and participate in medical surveillance programs to ensure compliance with EOH protocols. - Manage and document occupational injuries, illnesses, and incidents, supporting injured workers' return to work and recovery. - Assist in establishing occupational-related work restrictions based on medical assessments and employee health status. - Conduct medical examinations related to physical, chemical, biological, and social workplace environments to identify potential health risks. - Promote and maintain the health and well-being of employees through health education, wellness programs, and personalized guidance. - Support achieving 100% compliance with EOH surveillance programs, VA VHA policies, regulations, and professional standards. - Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable Federal laws, regulations, infection control standards, and VA/VHA policies. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, document findings, and support a safe work environment. - Assist in identifying employees' ability to perform essential job functions safely and effectively. - Establish and manage occupational work restrictions based on medical evaluations. - Provide compassionate care and health guidance to employees, addressing specific occupational health and environmental medicine issues. - Support health and safety initiatives aimed at reducing occupational injuries and illnesses. - Educate employees on occupational health and safety practices to promote a culture of health in the workplace. - Participate in efforts to improve identification of workers able to perform their duties safely without endangering themselves or others. - Maintain accurate, confidential health records in compliance with VA/VHA policies. - Assist in addressing occupational health concerns related to environmental exposures and workplace hazards. - Collaborate with VASNHCS staff to ensure comprehensive occupational health services. - Perform daily AED checks to ensure readiness. - Stock and restock medical supplies and materials as needed. - Conduct cart checks for expired items and replace supplies accordingly. - Answer phone calls, respond to employee questions, and provide information related to occupational health services. - Work closely with Human Resources to coordinate employee onboarding. - scheduling appointments for employees and applicants - scrubbing next day appointments Preferred Experience: BSN in Healthcare related field Occupational Health Experience as LPN 2-5 years' experience PACT/case manager 2-3 years' experience within the last 5 years Proficient with Microsoft office, excel experience 3-5 years' experience Joint Commission and OSHA compliance 2-5 years' experience Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, Variable Location: 6900 N.
