Program Analyst

About the Position: This position is a Program Analyst GS-0343-13 with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. This position is located in West Point, New York.

Advising on financial strategies and resolving budgetary issues for programs. Develop solutions to resolve complex program and budget issues. Establish procedures and processes for the financial management of the military program. Coordinating the development of budgets and cost estimates for project execution. Provide independent evaluations of program performance and assess the impact of delays. Formulate and recommend general fiscal and administrative policies, procedures, and regulations. Analyzing program performance and data to identify and correct deficiencies. Utilize automated management systems to manage military project funding. Create project work items within project management systems by resourcing activities and establishing budgets. Recommending fiscal policies and procedures to support program objectives. Advise project managers and leadership about complex funding problems. Interpret directive requirements for special and recurring program information requests.
