Job description
Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, US Border Patrol, located in Del Rio, TX. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10). Typical duties include: Providing a full range of supervisory functions for a staff that provides a diverse range of mission support services; setting priorities, assigning work, and scheduling project completion to support supervisors. Ensuring strategic plans support the achievement of core mission support process; providing technical advice and leadership in developing, implementing, and evaluating national programs and policies. Directing and overseeing the mission support programs to include finance, logistics, facilities, procurement, fleet, workforce management, training and quality assurance programs through subordinate supervisors. Executing all financial processes throughout the sector; reviewing and recommending actions on current and budget year programming to assure effective objective accomplishments within available resources. Leading the development and implementation of effective and responsive workforce management and training for the Sector. Overseeing the development and management of procedures and systems supporting life cycle management for logistics and facilities.
