Program Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Program Specialist, you will: Provide administrative support to the organization on a wide variety of complex and controversial actions and problems. Assist in the preparation, review and coordination of information, decision documents, special reports, and other programmatic documents required for successful administrative management. Solve unusual problems in performing a variety of duties related to special projects involving administrative or support issues. Plan and accomplish special projects through researching and analyzing problems, issues, or program requirements that may be unstable or complex. Schedule regular and special meetings, using knowledge of program events to determine need and timing.
