Job description

The VHA National Center for Organization Development (NCOD) is located in Cincinnati, OH. The duty station for this position must be located in either the National Capital Region (NCR) or Cincinnati, OH. No relocation funds will be provided.

Duties of the Psychologist serving as the Senior Organization Development Consultant-National Manager and licensed professional with knowledge of and ability to apply organization development best practices to leaders across the Agency, which include but are not limited to: Senior Organizational Development (OD) consultant providing expert consultation, executive coaching, and strategic guidance to VHA senior leaders, VISNs, facilities, and strategic divisions to improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and leadership performance. Leads and manages the National Center for Organization Development (NCOD) Speaker Series by developing program strategy, coordinating content delivery, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, evaluating program effectiveness, and reporting outcomes to senior leadership. Plans, implements, and evaluates local, regional and national organizational health initiatives, including consultation related to the VA All Employee Survey (AES), organizational assessments, change management, and action planning to improve workforce engagement and organizational outcomes. Develops, implements, and evaluates national organizational development products, services, tools, and policies; leads complex organizational improvement initiatives and collaborates across VA program offices to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. Represents NCOD as a national subject matter expert by serving on regional and national committees, providing executive-level presentations and briefings, resolving complex organizational issues, and traveling as needed to support implementation of local, regional and national organizational development initiatives.
