Public Notice - Nurse (Direct Hire)

You will provide comprehensive occupational health services to protect and maintain employee well-being, including evaluating and managing work-related injuries, conducting physical examinations, and performing health surveillance and diagnostic testing. You will also coordinate employee case management, maintain confidential medical records, provide safety education, and collaborate with partners to ensure regulatory compliance

Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee. Perform radiographic imaging procedures and conduct laboratory and diagnostic tests; accurately document and report results. Collaborate with safety officers, HR, and leadership to support OSHA compliance and injury prevention. Conduct DOT (Directly Observed Therapy), pre-placement, fit-for-duty, return-to-work, and annual physical exams. Coordinate case management and follow-up care for injured or ill employees. Coordinate with offsite medical contacts and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Educate employees on safe work practices, ergonomics, and healthy lifestyle choices. Evaluate and manage work-related injuries and exposures using evidence-based practice. Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records. Perform health surveillance, screenings, and health promotion (e.g., audiometry, spirometry, vaccinations). For supervisory positions, you will perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.
