About the Position: Incumbent manages the real property program for Fort Leonard Wood and Lake of the Ozarks Recreation Area (LORA). This position is being recruited for at the GS-09 or GS-11 grade levels. Selection can be made at either grade level. If filled at the GS-09 level, the position offers noncompetitive promotion potential to GS-11 level.
Serve as the Real Property Accountability Officer (by Garrison Commander appointment) for Fort Leonard Wood and Lake Ozark Recreation Area Serve as custodian of records of all installation owned real property. Establish and maintain the Real Property Inventory, which contain engineering and accounting data on facilities. Ensure that the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, revitalization, diversion, layaway, privatization, and disposal of real property assets are undertaken in accordance with applicable real property laws and regulations. Prepare real property responses to Congressional or Senate inquiries. Schedule and conduct cyclic physical inventories of real estate. Study and recommend a command position relative to the out-granting of Army controlled land, structures, and utilities. Monitor activities of the grantees to detect noncompliance with terms of out-grant instruments, performing inspections on behalf of the command and the Corps of Engineers (COE). Manage and maintain the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) real property database.
