THE ROLE

Mach Industries is seeking an Early Careers Recruiter to help us build and scale our early talent programs across engineering, manufacturing, and technical disciplines. This role will play a key part in identifying, engaging, and hiring exceptional interns and early-career talent from top universities and technical programs.

You will partner closely with hiring managers, engineers, and leadership to develop university recruiting strategies, build relationships with technical clubs and student organizations, and create a world-class candidate experience from first touch through offer. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and excited by the opportunity to bring exceptional early-career talent into a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Partner with hiring managers and engineering teams to define early-career hiring needs and build recruiting strategies across internship and entry-level roles.

- Own the full early-career recruiting lifecycle, from university outreach and candidate engagement through interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination.

- Develop and manage relationships with top universities, engineering programs, technical clubs, and student organizations.

- Plan and execute university recruiting events, technical club partnerships, career fairs, information sessions, and other campus engagement opportunities.

- Represent Mach Industries as a brand ambassador at universities, student organizations, conferences, and recruiting events.

- Build and continuously improve scalable processes for internship and new-grad recruiting, including candidate tracking, interview coordination, and communication.

- Serve as a strategic advisor on talent market trends, compensation benchmarking, and candidate engagement best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, business operations, or sales, ideally within deep tech or hard tech verticals OR Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in recruiting, business operations, or sales

- Demonstrated success sourcing and closing technical candidates in competitive markets.

- Strong understanding of engineering roles and organizational structures.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

- Obsession with building excellent teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience recruiting in startup or high-growth environments.

- Familiarity with Department of Defense contracting or cleared hiring processes.

- Proficiency with recruiting platforms such as Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter.

- Passion for emerging defense technology and innovation in national security.

- Proven ability to build and scale recruitment processes from the ground up.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and training, critical skills, and business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in most offers and are considered part of Mach’s total compensation package.
