Secretary (OA)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic DIB & MRTFB in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, Alabama just off interstate 20. The depot is the largest employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Maintain the calendar, travel arrangements, meeting and appointments for the Senior Administrative Officer. Screen calls to answer questions, resolve problems, advises or make recommendations. Facilitate communication and follow up actions with subordinate elements, higher-headquarters, other federal agencies and organizations. Print a wide range of documents is draft and final form for briefings. Ensure administrative operations adheres to legal, regulatory, and other policies set forth which govern the administrative operations. Review and develop implementation plans for new policies and regulations affecting organization's missions and goals.
