Senior Case Manager, CG-0570-15

This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Atlanta Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and will be directing the supervisory efforts for the most complex financial institutions. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill similar vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.

Directs or conducts the ongoing and continuous assessment of risk management practices, financial condition, business initiatives and future prospects of financial institutions and their affiliates within their portfolio (caseload) to assess the potential risk to the Deposit Insurance Fund. Initiates and conducts conferences and meetings with other supervisory authorities and bank officials, implements formal plans and programs designed to correct deficiencies in the operation of the financial institutions under their supervision; and obtains formal commitments from bank officials when deemed appropriate by the Regional Director. Prepares periodic (usually quarterly) detailed, written assessments of the financial condition, material changes in, and future prospects of, the financial institutions in their portfolio (caseload). Monitors corrective action taken by financial institutions to address supervisory recommendations and in conjunction with examination staff, determines the adequacy of remediation steps taken by financial institutions in their portfolio (caseload).
