The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position has full program responsibility for the Maintenance Policy and Procedures Branch. Performs as the 10th Air Force subject matter expert for assigned bomber, cargo, and fighter aircraft: RQ-4, A10, B1, B52, C145, C146, F15, F16, F22, HH-60, and WC-130. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Serves as program manager and senior technical advisor for NAF aircraft maintenance functions. Develops, interprets, and provides program guidance to units regarding maintenance policies, procedures, training criteria and manpower/personnel. 2. Conducts, participates in, monitors, or serves as maintenance team chief on a variety of assistance visits and assessment activities to determine readiness, and to review compliance with policies, directives, and instructions; observes operation of units, reviews quality and quantity of training; reviews training records, provides assistance to unit in resolving problems. 3. Directs aircraft maintenance analysis activities for the Numbered Air Force. Reviews and interprets bomber, cargo, and fighter aircraft maintenance analysis information to implement programs that positively affect the future health of the NAF aircraft fleet. 4. Represents the branch, participating in discussions, meetings, and/or serving on panels or committees concerning the NAF maintenance policies and procedures. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with representatives from the units, other NAFs, and HQ AFRC.
