Supervisory Financial Management Officer

The position is located in the Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS), Deputy Comptroller for Standards, Technology, and Reporting (STR), Financial Governance, Reporting, and Standards Directorate (FGRS), Office of Financial Standards (FS). This position serves as the Office Director and serves as the Department's principal authority for enterprise-wide financial management policies, procedures, and standards.

Exercises full supervisory and managerial authority over the Office of Financial Standards staff. Directs, plans, and executes the development of worldwide financial management policies, principles, and standards for the Department, engaging in both strategic and tactical financial management policy planning. Represents the Department in interagency forums and working groups on financial management matters and serves as the primary point of contact and Departmental liaison for financial policy and federal assistance financial management matters. Develops authoritative departmental financial policies, procedures, and guidance addressing all aspects of federal assistance financial management, ensuring alignment with all federal and Department laws, regulations, and practices. Oversees specialized financial operations that ensure the integrity and efficiency of consular fee collections and strengthen financial accountability across the Department.
