Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Division DIrector)

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Human Capital, Workforce Management Group, Division of Performance & Organizational Programs. As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Division DIrector), GS-0201-15, you will serve as the Division Director, playing a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR policies, initiatives, and procedures.

Exercises significant responsibilities in dealing with high-level Agency officials, establishes long-range plans, and negotiates the status of work assignments and impact on the Division, Group, Office, and Agency operations. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Work with internal and external managers to formulate organizational goals. Represent the organization on committees and work groups. Provides leadership in the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of policies, initiatives, and procedures.
