Job description

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is with the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, INSCOM, Mission Support Command, Associate Chief of Staff, G-6 located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Serve as Supervisory Information Technology (IT) Specialist and Chief of Cybersecurity Program Branch at Headquarters INSCOM G6, Compliance and Coordination Division. Provide Information Assurance support to the Army Service Cryptologic Element (SCE) for the National Security Agency (NSA)/Central Security Services (CSS). Manage the accreditation of all Protection Level (PL) PL1 through PL3 cryptologic SCI information systems. Conduct assistance visits to provide guidance on program development, security processes, security operating procedures, policy implementation and system security configuration requirements.
