Job description

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence & Analysis (I&A). The primary purpose of this position is to provide executive oversight and strategic leadership for CAPMO, managing controlled access programs across DHS. The role supports the Department's mission to protect the Homeland by ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, security requirements, and by integrating CAPMO objectives. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.

As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Deputy Director IT Operations), GS-2210-15, your typical work assignments may include: Manages, directs, plans, and coordinates the identification of federal IT requirements and develops strategies to counter evolving threats. Leads alignment and implementation of DHS and Intelligence Community (IC) policies to enable the efficient and effective use of IT capabilities. Serving as a technical advisor to the Director, the individual provides high-level guidance to management. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience through effective communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
