As an SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, you will manage a team to coordinate, analyze, and evaluate logistics management programs, provide expert advice to employees and senior leadership, and identify efficiencies.

The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity. Direct, implement, coordinate, and oversee a portion of the agency-wide personal property program using a wide range of qualitative and quantitative management support principles, processes, and systems. Analyze major administrative property and logistics programs, generating and applying new hypotheses and concepts to improve effectiveness and efficiency of operations and to support senior leadership in decision making and policy development. Develop procedures and techniques for data management and analysis, statistical studies, and reporting capabilities and furnish policy guidance to subordinates. Establish and carry out specific action plans for accomplishing short-term and long-term goals and objectives. Research, evaluate, resolve problems, and make decisions involving interpretation of laws, regulations, and policies. Devise new methods or procedures for accomplishing work to manage the agency-wide personal property program, including training, special studies, property management, system helpdesk, and site visits. Perform the full range of supervisory duties and responsibilities to include overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of mission, recruitment, selection, training, evaluations, and retention of high caliber staff.
