Job description
You will serve as a Supervisory Park Ranger (Interpretation) with National Park Service. Open to the first 100 applicants or until 08/12/2026 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.
As a Supervisory Park Ranger (Interpretation), you will perform the following duties: Develops and delivers a wide variety of interpretive programs, media, and digital content connecting visitors to park resources. Engages the public through presenting a complete and highly varied suite of formal structured programs (e.g., walks, talks, tours, presentations, demonstrations, events, and virtual interactions). Coordinates visitor facility and information desk operations and monitors visitor services. Trains, mentors, and coaches interpretive staff and critiques program delivery. Coordinates day-to-day execution of park education programs and partnerships with educators. Coordinates historic black powder weapons safety, storage, and demonstration programs per NPS standards Develops a wide variety of fully accessible non-personal services and interpretive media. Participates in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of black powder storage, demonstrations, and weapons-firing.
