Supervisory Park Ranger (Interpretation)

This position is located in Women's Rights National Historical Park, in the Interpretation and Recourses Division. The incumbent will physically sit in the Women's Right National Historic Park in Seneca Falls, New York but will also service nearby Harriet Tubman National Historic Park located in Auburn, New York. As a Supervisory Park Panger (Interpretation) GS-0025-11, you will perform the following duties: Oversees daily operation of the Women's Rights National Historic Park Visitor Center and Harriet Tubman National Historical Park Visitor Contact Station program operations across the park units. Develops staffing schedules for visitor operations. Plans and establishes work priorities, deadlines, and standards for acceptable work. Presents programs to multi-generational audiences through a variety of media to build support for management goals. Oversees the park's social media, web based, distance learning, and digital technology programs. Plans, directs, coordinates, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of interpretive programs. Performs overall work planning, establishes work schedules and priorities, and assign and review work. Develops performance standards and evaluates the performance of staff members. Make recommendations and draft justifications for NPS funds. Evaluates the various interpretive programs and develops proposed changes to accommodate changing visitation use trends.
