Job description

You will serve as a Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist with The National Park Service.

The Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist oversees all fee collection operations at Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Park, ensuring program effectiveness, policy and regulatory compliance, and providing high-quality visitor service. The position leads and directs staff responsible for fee collection at entrance stations, remote sites, and ferry-based operations, providing guidance, training, and performance management to maintain consistent and accountable operations. The Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist manages revenue handling and internal controls, ensuring proper collection, reconciliation, documentation, and deposit of funds. The role also implements national and regional fee policies, evaluates operational needs, and recommends improvements that enhance efficiency, customer service, and accountability. This position works closely with park divisions and partner organizations to ensure fee operations support broader park goals. This position also resolves complex visitor issues, interprets fee regulations, and maintains program integrity through continuous training, quality assurance, and coordination across both parks.
