Supervisory Research Health Scientist (Field Studies Branch Chief)

This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). This position is located in Morgantown,WV- NIOSH is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington D.C. As a Supervisory Research Health Scientist, you will: Participate with the Division Director and fully shares in the responsibility for planning, developing, evaluating, and managing the programs of the Branch. Maintain close liaison with other Branches/Divisions of the Institute to assure researchprogram plans and projects conform to the objectives, mission, and program initiatives of the Institute. Provide consultation on the design and interpretation of applied and operational research studies. Formulate, develop, and direct broad programs of active research in industrial hygiene and epidemiological studies, clinical assessment, exposure assessment, and laboratory research, which lead to advances in the field of the control of occupational respiratory disease.
