Job description

As the Training Specialist you will serve as the Training Administrator responsible for facilitating and tracking training of personnel and will manage and store training materials which support science and operational programs of the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF).

The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity. The duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide advice and assistance to employees and management concerning training and professional development opportunities. Reviews and analyzes training efforts to determine the effectiveness of the training program. Performs as a resource person as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for all training activities. Provides technical advice and guidance to other Training Specialists about a variety of complex problems encountered in work assignments. Provides leadership among a team of Training Specialists by training and providing guidance and assistance to lower graded staff members in performing unusual or complex projects and assignments.
